Following the couple’s successful trip to Colombia, Meghan Markle allegedly swallowed a bitter pill and agreed to her husband Prince Harry’s unexpected request.
According to reports, Harry’s request to spend his trip to New York City next month staying at home in California with their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, has been granted by the Duchess of Sussex.
Harry won’t be bringing the former Suits actor along on his next big trip to New York.
Harry’s move to travel alone is allegedly an attempt to “prove he is still relevant” following his departure from the royal family in 2020, according to royal analyst Michael Cole.
Notably, on September 24, Harry’s visit coincides with Prince William’s Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit. Although it is unknown if the heir apparent would go to New York for the occasion, he was present the previous year.
Cole stated: “Being a part of the Royal Family simply makes you relevant.” The semi-detached member of the Royal Family residing in California had to be active to demonstrate his value to the globe, which is why he recently traveled to Nigeria and Colombia with his spouse.
“He’s going to New York in the week of the General Assembly, the world’s biggest talking shop, and Climate Week, carrying the banner of the Archewell Foundation.”
Cole mentioned the prior event the Sussexes experienced in New York following their involvement in a vehicle pursuit while making potential explanations for the Duchess of Sussex’s decision to stay apart from her husband in the city.
Cole clarified, saying, “We’re not sure why she’s not attending; maybe she has other commitments. On her Montecito hilltop, jam to make and people to chat to.
“Are they worried about a repeat of the two-hour long, nonstop automobile chases that took place in May of last year around New York City? Though the mayor of New York and the taxi driver both offered their opinions and cast doubt on the story of them being chased by photographers and terrified for their lives.”
Cole complimented the prince on his efforts with his numerous philanthropic endeavors and asked whether or not the general people “will be interested” in his most recent expedition, which did not include Meghan Markle.
Bev said to Cole, “If you base your professional life entirely on your personal life, your marriage, and your relationship—which is what they’ve done with their Netflix documentary and his book Spare—then congratulations.
“The conjecture starts when you travel without your wife, if your life is only focused on your relationships. Since nothing else could possibly be beneath what they do.”
