“Fallen from Fame: Busted expose a previously undisclosed rivalry with fellow pop artists, claiming they have faded into obscurity with no lasting impact on public memory”

The pop group Busted has once again taken a dig at their long-standing rivals, admitting that “nobody remembers them anymore.” The boy band, known for their early 2000s chart battles with McFly, briefly set aside their differences to form the supergroup McBusted in 2013, only to split two years later. Despite the temporary collaboration, Busted member Charlie Simpson revealed that there remains an “absolute rivalry” between the two bands even after a decade.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun before their performance at the Jingle Bell Ball concert at the O2 Arena, Charlie addressed the ongoing competition, stating, “It’s not sneaky, it’s an absolute rivalry.” James Bourne chimed in, asserting, “There’s no competition anymore; we’re the clear-cut favorites!”

Taking a harsh swipe at their rivals, Bourne remarked, “No one remembers them anymore. Whenever people used to come up to me and say, ‘Oh, I like you. But you know, I also like McFly.’ Now they just say, ‘I’m so glad you’re back.’ They don’t say anything about them.”
